"Troy Outman, a licensed landscape architect, with over 35 years of diverse experience in the landscape industry. following 17 years of running a successful landscape business, designing, building and maintaining landscapes, Troy dedicated his career to the profession of landscape architecture. Troy has created award winning residential designs, assisted with watershed conservation projects, ecological restoration, and developed hiking trail projects and for 8 years worked for the County of Sacramento where he assisted with development plans, oversaw health and maintenance of existing sites, created rehab and irrigation plans of old sites and worked with other landscape architects on future road development." 

As the owner of Outman LandWorks, Troy is utilizing his passion for natural landscape and plants, combined with his unique design skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing landscapes for his clients. Troy listens to his clients’ desires, needs and dreams in order to create a personalized design and installation that meets the clients’ goals and gives them the outdoor experience of their dreams.

When away from work, Troy can be found training for a triathlon, enjoying the outdoors, taking nature photography, or working in his yard and spending quality time with his wife, Sarah.
